The FD 386 Automatic Document Folder offers quick, easy set-up, and the versatility to complete a variety of fold jobs in minutes. This is a great machine for offices with many different folds or operators. The FD 386, is fast and easy to set up. It folds at speeds up to 17,000 pieces per hour!  One touch setup is available for 18 pre-programmed fold settings, or for choosing one of the 25 custom folds that can be stored into memory.

The large backlit LCD display and user-friendly control panel allows untrained operators to walk up and start folding with little to no instruction. The FD 386 advanced software allows you to fold all standard fold types and paper sizes and, if desired, to customize them to meet your particular needs. The operator can load up to 500 sheets in the hopper, select the fold, press start and walk away. The FD 386 will fold the 500 sheets in as fast as 2 minutes and hold the folded pieces on its patented Telescoping Conveyor System, which is considerably longer than most, holding more folded documents.

The three roller drop-in feed system produces dependable feeding of forms with no fanning required. The output stacker wheels can be manually adjusted to neatly and sequentially stack different paper sizes and fold types. There is a 6-digit resettable and 8-digit life counter. The fold plates are enclosed and insulated for maximum noise control. This folding machine is quieter than most.

A cross-folding guide is included for a two-pass operation. This allows you to fold a stack of documents in half and then perform a second fold on the documents in half or thirds from the side on a second pass.

The optional patented Multi-Sheet Feeder allows up to 4 sheets, stapled or unstapled, to be folded at one time through the dedicated feed system with its own side guides and skew adjustment system.
