Formax ColorMax8 Digital Color Printer

We are now offering the ColorMax8 Digital Color Printer.  This printer uses the latest inkjet technology to print full bleed, full-color mailings.  It also prints envelopes and because it now includes a wider flatter paper path, it can print on stuffed envelopes, other flats, chipboard, some cardboard, and other stock up to 3/8" thick. 

Its Memjet® print head has over 70,000 ink nozzles with no moving parts.  This allows high speeds, lower ink, maintenance costs, and a fairly quiet operation.  It can produce full-color CMYK solutions, up to 16.8 million colors, and can print full bleed on up to 8.5" wide stock.  

The ColorMax 8 has a 7” color touchscreen that allows full control over the print process. The ColorMax uses thermal inkjet technology that does not use heat or contact to create an image.  It can safely be used with pre-printed envelopes and windowed envelopes without damaging the window or marring the original image. High-capacity ink tanks and fully-automated print head cleaning ensure optimum print quality.
