The Formax Square IT finishes booklets up to 9-1/2" x 12-3/4", in sizes up to 24 sheets of 80 gsm paper. Operators can choose from four thickness options, which provide the correct squareback binding based on the number of pages.
The Square IT can be used either has a hand-feed unit or in-line with a wide range of traditional and digital finishing devices.
Squareback booklets lie flat, making them easier to front-trim on a guillotine cutter. They also offer the benefit of printing on the spine, plus they are easier to package and store.
Options include a cabinet with a key lock, shelf, and casters. Another option is an adjustable stand with a floor to infeed height of 12"-19.5".
